SHE Forum Takes Root in Teshie
At our Homowo community outreach we introduced the SHE (Support, Help, and Empower) Forum, our mentorship hub for the Teshie Township. Twenty girls registered, and our first meeting held on October 19, 2024 — the first of four meetings we ran that year. Mentees from the Forum are picking up well, and our fellow-student pairing system is beginning to bear fruit.
A Fruitful Partnership: Mini Outreach with SEMADA Foundation
To commemorate International Women's Day, HerInspirer partnered with SEMADA Foundation for a mini community outreach at Peniel Presby Church, Teshie, under the theme "Inspire Inclusion; Inspiring Her to Get Involved." Thirty women and twenty female students from the Teshie Presbyterian High School and Teshie Vocational School attended, alongside representatives from the Municipal Community Development and Education Offices.
