Celebrating Women and Girls in Science with LEKMA Schools

On 15th February 2024, HerInspirer was invited by the Ledzokuku Municipal Education Directorate to present on women in science at the Ledzokuku Central Circuit Junior High Schools all-girls science quiz competition, commemorating the International Day for Women and Girls in Science under the theme "Women and Girls in Science Leadership — a New Era for Sustainability."
Our time with the roughly 100 girls in attendance was fun and eye-opening, and a wonderful reminder of why representation in STEM matters.
